Here are the answers to some common questions. If they don’t help, feel free to contact us through the form below.

General

  • When are we open?

We are open 7 days a week:

    • Mon.-Fri. we open at 4 P.M.

    • Sat.-Sun. we open at 11 A.M.

    • Our last room starts at 9:40 P.M.! *

We accept walk-ins during these times as well, though our Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays tend to be very busy. We recommend calling ahead before walking in, and making a reservation on these days before we’re fully booked!

      * Times are subject to change due to holiday hours.

  • Are your rooms private?

Yes, all of our rooms are private! Once you create your booking the timeslot you have chosen is just yours.

  • How do we find you?

We can be a little tricky to find. Our full address is 2301 Columbia Pike, Suite C Arlington, VA 22204. If you do not include “Suite C” in the address, your GPS will take you to the wrong side of the building. We are actually located around the corner of S Adams St. and Columbia Pike but cannot be seen from the front of our building. We are located on the left side of the Siena Park Apartments building. You can also just type in “Escape Room Arlington” on your GPS and it will take you right to our front door. You’ll know you’ve found us when you see the restaurant William Jeffrey’s Tavern!

    We made a map below!

  • How do we get there with public transit?

In our experience, here’s the best way to do it:

    • Take the Blue or Yellow metro lines to the Pentagon City Metro stop.

    • Right outside the metro is a bus stop. Take the 16G or 16H bus from that stop.

    • Ride the bus for about 1.5 miles to S Barton St. stop.

    • Walk one block east, past the Starbucks, until you get to S Adams St.

    • Our front door is on S Adams St., next to William Jeffrey’s Tavern.

  • Public transit is cool and all, but I’m bringing my own ride. What about parking?

For side street parking, this link has more in-depth information: https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Programs/Transportation/Parking/Paying-for-Parking#section-1.

To recap, most areas Mon.-Sat., 8 A.M.-8 P.M. will be the hours of enforcement. If you plan on parking after 8 P.M., those later evenings, Sundays and major holidays are free. Long-term meters are $1.50 per hour and short-term meters are $1.75 per hour.

There is a Giant parking garage directly across from our front doors. The first hour is free (think you can get out in less than that?). Every hour after that is $5.

There is parking beneath our building. It’s $1.50 starting from the first hour and $10 for overnight parking.

    See the map below!

Fri. and Sun.: Groups of 2-3 participants: $44 per person. Groups of 4+: $34 per person.

    * There is a separate processing fee applied during checkout.

  • Once I’ve purchased a room, it’s private, right?

    Right!

  • Do you offer discounts?

We offer 10% student and military discounts. Only one can be applied per ticket. You must bring your school or military ID with you because we will ask at check-in to confirm. If no ID is presented, we will have to charge you the usual ticket price.

  • How does the ticketing work?

A few ways. The first way you can buy tickets is online. Online bookings are made securely through our booking software Resova and require credit or debit card information at the time of purchase. Each game has a maximum number of tickets that can be purchased for each session. Alternatively, you can give us a call at (703) 232-2546 or contact us below and we can set up your reservation for you. Tickets purchased within 20 minutes of a room's start time will need to be reserved over the phone, as they will be blocked off on the website.

  • The reservation said something about an online waiver? Where is that?

Right here! Click here to sign the waiver.

  • Are tickets refundable?

No. Tickets are non-refundable upon purchase.

  • Can I change the date(s) and/or time(s) if they still happen to be available?

You can! Give us a call at (703) 232-2546 or contact us below so we can try and help you out.

  • What if I can't make it due to inclement weather/medical emergency/extenuating circumstances?

With reasonable circumstances, we will occasionally bend the rules of our cancellation policy. Give us a call at (703) 232-2546 or contact us below.

  • May I purchase a ticket for someone else? Yes, as long as whomever is playing knows the name the reservation is under, they will be all set.

  • How far out can I purchase a ticket? Sessions are available for bookings 3 months in advance. If you are interested in a date farther than 3 months out, please call us at (703) 232-2546 for assistance.

  • What happened to the available room on the reservations page? Our booking software automatically removes a room 20 minutes before its start-time. So if you are making a last minute booking, give us a call at (703) 232-2546 and we can arrange your booking over the phone.

  • Do you use gift vouchers? - Of course! Currently, you are not able to buy a voucher from our website. Call or email us to have a voucher made*.

* No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift vouchers; however, purchases paid for with gift vouchers may be subject to tax.

  • Do you have team-building/private party packages? Yes! All of our team building/private party packages include private access to all rooms, the ability to start all rooms simultaneously, complimentary beverages, the ability to bring in outside alcohol, and the exclusive attention of all our game hosts. Give us a call at (703) 232-2546 to set up a reservation between 10 A.M.-4 P.M.! (Note: we will take a 20% non-refundable deposit at the door or over the phone prior to your reservation.)

  1. Our One-Hour Event package is $34 per player for one hour of play.

  2. Our Two-Hour Event package is $52 per player for two hours of play OR one hour of play and one hour for catering.

  • Food & drink? A one-hour catered lunch is available to our corporate groups who select the two-hour package. You are free to bring in catering from any location, but we ask to be given a head’s up so we can set up tables for the food and drinks.

The Experience

  • How awesome is it? - Very! Check out our reviews here!

  • How long does this take? Participants have 60 minutes to solve all the clues and puzzles within the room. Players should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled playtime.

  • Is there an age limit? Our games are fun for all ages! If you are under the age of 14, we REQUIRE that you are accompanied by an adult. The games are difficult and created with the intent to stump players! Note: Our Mind Trap room contains horror elements that may not be suitable for younger children. Children under 3 do not require purchase of tickets.

  • Is there a minimum number of players required? No, but some of our rooms may be more difficult with only two players.

  • We have a larger group than the capacity for each game. How can you accommodate us? Only some of our rooms accommodate a few more people than the maximum, however, it may be a bit cramped. We suggest that you split a larger group into two smaller ones, as the price will be the same for you and everyone will have more hands on the action! Please give us a call to make arrangements.

  • I am purchasing fewer tickets than maximum available for that room. Does that mean the remaining slots are filled by other guests? No. As we’re winding down from COVID-19, all of our rooms are still private. If you wish to bring additional players, you’re welcome to do so, and we will take payment for them at the door.

  • Is this scary? - While we are not a haunted house, some of our rooms are a tad on the creepy side for atmosphere's sake. We have put warnings in the room descriptions if the room may be too scary for children, so look there.

  • Are cell phones allowed in the room? Yes. However please do not take photos or make calls during your experience. We try to keep our secrets secret.

  • Is there anything else I should bring? You may be required to read the text as a part of some of our clues, so if you require reading glasses we suggest bringing those. It can be chilly from time to time in our rooms so a sweater might be advisable if you're susceptible to the cold. Make sure your clothing is comfortable to move around in!

  • Can we play the same room more than once? If you’d like to, certainly. However, for all guests, we ask that the puzzles remain a mystery to all new teams so please do not spoil the fun and share the answers with anyone. If you succeed, try your skills in another room!
